Engagment Session at Fort Point & Crissy Field

I love doing engagement sessions because it gives me a chance to get to know every couple whose wedding I am going to photograph! It gets you in front of me & my camera so that you know what to expect on your big day. This engagement session for G & B took place at Fort Point and at the nearby Crissy Field.

Fort Point is a beautiful historical site where soldiers watched over the entrance to the Bay. It's free to park, enter & take photos here! Which also means that it tends to be a bit busy to be prepared for crowds during the summer & weekends. If you are able to go during a weekday, I would highly recommend it.

This is a great location for anyone who wants the Golden Gate Bridge in their engagement photos! It's also great for anyone who wants an urban vibe without having to go into any busy neighborhoods.

Crissy Field and it's many beaches are just down the road from Fort Point - about a five minute drive away. Parking & taking photos is also free at Crissy Field at any of the multiple beaches & locations there. I recommend going to Cooper's Corner or East Beach, where these photos were taken!

I always recommend going to Crissy Field as close to sunset as possible due to how bright the sun can be! We want the sun behind both you & the Golden Gate bridge so that we don't hurt your eyes while at the beach.

This is the perfect location for anyone who wants a classic & iconic view of the Golden Gate Bridge for their engagement photos!
